Just over nine months into my journey with MC Design, I’ve reached a point where the effort invested is starting to translate into tangible results. There is a real sense of momentum building, not just in numbers, but in relationships, opportunities and the overall direction that we are taking.
What has stood out so far during this time is the strength of the connections we are developing. Relationships that started as introductions are now evolving into trusted partnerships. It’s rewarding to see new customers placing their confidence in MC Design and at the same time, positioning ourselves as a reliable and forward-thinking partner. Even more encouraging is the traction we are beginning to gain on an international scale, opening doors to opportunities beyond our borders and showcasing our offerings on a global scale.
A key part of this growth has been our push into digital marketing. While it was initially unfamiliar territory at first, it has proven to be an exciting and worthwhile challenge. Since partnering with SimonSAYS, our digital visibility has increased significantly. The impact is clear in the level of engagement we are seeing and the quality of opportunities that are coming through. This is still just the beginning, with several exciting developments on the horizon.
My recent trip to Durban has added further energy to this progress. It was a valuable opportunity to reconnect with past customers, strengthen those relationships and reaffirm our commitment to supporting their operations. At the same time, meeting new customers has opened up fresh opportunities in the market, reinforcing the potential we have to expand our footprint in the region.
Beyond the customer engagements, it was also great to spend time with our Durban branch. Seeing the team in action and aligning in person always adds a different level of clarity and motivation. A special mention goes to our newly appointed Project Manager, Dean Munsamy, who has made a strong impact in a short space of time. His contribution is already evident and it’s clear that he will play an important role in driving the Durban operations forward. The team itself has been incredibly welcoming, which speaks volumes about the culture we are building.
Looking ahead, the focus remains on consistency and building on this momentum. The foundation is taking shape through strong relationships, increased visibility and a growing pipeline of opportunities. There is still a lot to be done, but the direction is clear and the progress so far is encouraging.
The journey continues and the next phase promises to be even more exciting for MC Design.
